A high standard of comprehensive medical care

Cunninghame Arm Medical Centre is a private billing practice, purpose built with an emergency area, procedure room, 8 consulting rooms, a full time practice nurse, physiotherapist, visiting specialists, pathology on-site and X-ray in the town.

Consulting at Cunninghame Arm Medical Centre are Dr David Campbell, Dr Ian Broom, Dr Jane Greacen and Dr Maria Bodenstein and one registrar. We also host two 4th year medical students. Cunninghame Arm Medical Centre at Lakes Entrance has been involved with Box Hill PGPPP registrars since February 2004. Over this time we have found that not only has the PGPPP doctor become an important part of our staff but also welcomed by the local community.

Susan Goding

The Lakes Experience

By Kazunori Nakajima

Oh, apparently that’s a really good rotation,” was the reaction I had from virtually every doctor in the city hospitals when I discussed with them that I was going to be spending 3 months in a general practice clinic in Lakes Entrance.

Despite this, the thought of seeing patients by myself in a world of unpredictably diverse presentations was, to be honest, daunting prior to commencing my prevocational general practice training at Cunninghame Arm Medical Centre in Lakes Entrance.

That apprehension was quickly dispelled upon my arrival, thanks mainly to a warm, supportive, welcoming and close-knit group of people – not just the doctors, but also the nurses and the administrative staff. I was made to feel valued and a service to the people of Lakes Entrance.
